DDC Website Training for DDCs under Pokhara and Dhulikhel region of LGCDP was organized at Hotel Legacy, Pokhara from June 05 to June 07. The training was provided to ICT Volunteers and government officials responsible for managing the official DDC website. Regional ICT Experts of LGCDP, Ekendra Lamsal, Apurwa Singh, Durga Prasad Bhatta and Deepak Raj Dawadi were responsible for delivering the training as resource person. 

An agreement was signed between Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) concerning additional 3 Million USD to support the Local Governance and Community Development Programme. The agreement was signed by His Exellency, Ambassador Kjell Tormod Pettersen on behalf of Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs while Mr Mahendra Man Gurung, Secretary, MoFALD signed the agreement on behalf of MoFALD.

DDC Website Master training of trainers was organized at Hotel Arniko, Dhulikhel from May 30 to May 31. The training was provided to seven regional ICT Experts of LGCDP. The event was chaired by chief of Information and eGovernance section of MoFALD, Under Secretary Sita Pariyar. Also present at the event were representatives from UNV Field Unit Nepal.

Fiduciary Risk Mitigation (FRM) meeting was held at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) on 12^th May 2016 under the chairpersonship of respected Secretary, Mr. Mahendra Man Gurung. The meeting was attended by representatives from various development partners, Joint secretaries and Under Secretaries, and other staffs from MoFALD alongside LGCDP Programme staffs. The meeting was facilitated by Mr. Reshmi Raj Pandey, Joint Secretary and National Programme Director of LGCDP-II.
